I'm heeeeeeeeeere!!!!!!!!!

Man, I haven't been on my blog for ages! Luckily, I have found an explanation that should satisfy. I got it from, where else? but the FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS site.

'»Problem with Website discovered.
A catch 22 type dilemna has struck kiwi band Flight of The Conchords in relation to updating the band news on their website. Members of the band (Jemaine and Bret) have noticed that whenever there are doing things that could be reported on the website, they are too busy to update the website. In addition, whenever the band members have some spare time in which they could update the website, there is usually, as one member put it "nothing going on". As a direct result of this problem The Conchords may resort to manufacturing news stories about themselves to bolster news items in less busy times.'

Sadly, the same thing has happened to me. I have been so busy I've had no time to write about it! And by now, you would have read about it on someone else's blogs. Sigh. How depressing. However, there's no point of having a blog if I don't bang on about myself selfishly as if I'm the most important person in the world (which I am, just to clear that up) so I better tell you what I can remember of my crazy business lately.

1. National Leadership Development camp, with Girls Brigade, better known as Awesome Leadership. We had a great time at Silverstream retreat, hanging out with friends, making tons of new friends, learning about how to be a better leader, and even rocking it down to Queensgate for an afternoon of shopping! A highlight of the camp was the fun night organised by the level three people, with a t.v theme. It was tons of fun, dressing up and doing fun challenges, which our overly enthusiastic (not) team won! Oh yeah, go team Cookie Monsters!

2. Youth Alpha Camp!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the best weekends I have ever had, not kidding. It was so much fun!!!!! If you want to know more about this, check out this site, and even if you don't check it out anyway! Richard loved us so much he wrote about us on the alpha site. Awww. http://www.alpha.org.nz/youth/enews/YA_eNews-OctNov08.pdf
We had lots of fun with our awesome youth group, Richard (c'mon Richard!), and Huggies, with Ben and Teri hanging round trying to blend with us, and of course, Mia and Breanna!!!!! (Haven't seen Mia since, Maz, grrr!) A highlight for me was the Youth Group's got talent show, singing and dancing crazily with FOTC and other orsum cds, lidtening to Richards talks, and the prayer and discussion that came from that, the water slide, tramps, volleyball, flying fox, Huggies' worship leading, Alex's games, the whole thing, really!!!! It was orsum!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. Exams. Arrrrrrrrrrgh! The dreaded word, and mine were only mocks! We'll just skip over them apart from saying that there was no highlight for me about them!

4. My Grandparents' 50th wedding anneversary! Since most people who read this don't know my grandparents, I'll keep this short, but it was orsum for my grandparents, hanging out with my family, good times with my cousins, and meeting a lot of strangers who said things like "Oh, you're Sarah! Jonathan and Fiona's Sarah. I remember when you were this high..."

5. Dance Camp. Whew! We had a great time, with our group holding it here in Wellington, and lots of people coming from all over the country, amybe even Australia? My Official Jobs were Head of Decorations and Milk Duty, which I believe I performed superbly. We brought out Marcelo Marionoff, an Argintine cance teacher from England to teach us, and he was amazing, and taught us some great dances. It was Orsum, but very tiring!!!

6 Schoooool. Lots of NCEA assignments worth credits. It's only year ten!!!!!!!!!!

7. The Welshies AMAZING dance show. They were so good!!! Susan was so cute, and she had the biggest smile the whole time, And Esther was gorgeous, and is an amazing performer. You guys are great!

8. Last weekend, me and Cassie went along to the Evening Community Leaders Retreat to look after Breanna nad keep her out of the way for the more important sessions. We had a great time hanging out with the orsum people that went along, playing bonding game, praying, playing with Breanna, and even getting a deep conversation or two while Breanna was asleep. I even got her first word!!! "Mum! Mama!" I recorded it on my phone, so if you want to hear her, ask me!

Whew. I think thats enough for now. Oh. and by the way, at the moment, my class is emersed in putting together a stage challenge. And on Monday and Tuesday, we have Duke of Ed Tramp!!! It's gonna be orsum!!

Well, that's enough waffle from me for now.
